Favorite non-reading activity?
I love to workout at Orange Theory or a Pilates Class. The intensity is good for my brain and body and clears my head. I also sleep better.

Is your go to comfort food sweet or savory? Is it something you make yourself? Does food inspire your writing?

I don’t believe food should be a source of comfort because that’s the very thing that causes bad habits and addictions. Food is to nourish the body, not to comfort the mind. When we know how to love ourselves, we get comfort from healthy sources like friends, meditation, hot baths, walks in nature, music, journaling, etc.

Have you ever experienced Imposter Syndrome?
No, I’ve worked so hard for everything I’ve earned, I’ve never felt like an imposter.

Is there a work of art that you love? Why? Have you ever visited it in person?
Salvador’s Dali Museum. I cried when I saw his mural of Jesus walking down the mountain.

Do you have another artistic outlet in addition to your writing? Do you sew? Paint? Draw? Knit? Dance?
Despite employment since age 15, I love domestic chores. I love gardening, but I’m a complete failure. I enjoy cleaning the house. My favorite domestic chore is cooking. It’s wonderful to bring people together around homemade, delicious food.
